Graduation is your big day, and we want it to be memorable, rewarding, and exciting. Please review the information and timetables below to ensure a smooth event.

Graduation Day Schedule

4:30 - 6:15 PM CEREMONY 

Event timeline

3:30-4:30 pm - Arrivals

• Graduates check-in at Royce Hall
• Guests are seated separately
• Guests seating begins at 4:00 pm

4:00pm - Guest Seating in Royce Hall

• Royce Hall doors open - Guests are seated

4:30pm - Graduate line-up for Procession into Royce Hall

• The event will be live-streamed on the UCLA Extension YouTube Channel
• The celebration will feature remarks by Dean Eric A. Bullard, a keynote address, graduate testimonials, and graduate names are announced as they cross the Royce stage.
• Graduates will be ushered from their seats to the stage, they will hand a card with their name and certificate to the announcer, cross the stage, and have their photo taken. Graduates may take off their masks temporarily to cross the stage and for photos.
• Upon exiting the stage, graduates will return to their seats.

6:15 pm - Ceremony ends

• Guests and graduates exit Royce Hall onto the Quad for punch and cookies.

7:15 pm - Event ends

Graduate and Guest eTickets

All eTickets are complimentary. Each graduate receives three (3) total eTickets (1 graduate +2 guest tickets). eTickets are issued via UCLA Central Ticket Office (CTO).

Note: There is no additional or separate guest registration. The graduate transfers or shares the guest eTickets.

Reminders

Attire is business casual. In advance, obtain parking permits via Bruin ePermits. Ceremony parking at UCLA Lots 4 and 7. Be sure to have directions to campus parking. If you have out-of-town guests attending the ceremony, we have provided a directory of nearby hotels to help you in your planning process.

Accessibility

UCLA venues and facilities are equipped with both wheelchair spaces and transfer seats located on select aisles, which have folding armrests to make transfer easier for those with mobility limitations. Please indicate specific seating needs when placing your ticket order, and clarify whether they are for you or for your guest.
