About this course:

This course introduces students to communication strategies, methods, and tools that can be used by government, private sector, and non-governmental communicators and other professionals to inform an audience or stakeholders about actions to take before, during, or after an emergency. Students will learn best practices and lessons learned from previous events and how to apply them to public health, emergency management, or public safety communications. This includes how to work with the media, develop effective messages, and reach diverse and vulnerable populations.
