actor known for his work on film, television and Broadway. Published playwright who has also written and directed for the theatre and television. Member, Board of Directors for OPCC (now OPCC-LAMP), a visionary social service organization in Los Angeles. Advisor, TEDx UCLA, assisting in speaker selection and preparation.

Greg Germann is an actor known for his work on film, television and on Broadway.  Most recently starred in the world premier of Steve Martin’s new play METEOR SHOWER.  On Broadway he starred with Mark Rylance in BOEING BOEING.  He’s created roles for Stephen Sondheim, and worked with Lanford Wilson among David Mamet among others.

He has also appeared in numerous films including GET HARD, CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER, FRIENDS WITH MONEY, QUARANTINED, BOLT, SWEET NOVEMBER, TALEDEGA NIGHTS, among many others.  Greg is probably best known for the many characters he has created on the small screen, most memorably as Richard Fish on ALLY McBEAL.

He’s a published playwright and has also written and directed for the theatre and television.  He wrote, directed and starred in the short film PETE’S GARDEN shown in competition at the Sundance Film Festival.

He was honored to be invited twice be part of a goodwill trip traveling to Afghanistan to visit troops serving there. .  He was able to visit our men and women in uniform stopping in dozens F.O.B.’s (Forward Operating Bases) from Kandahar to Kabul and meeting thousands of soldiers.

For over a decade he has had the privilege of serving on the Board of Directors for OPCC (now OPCC-LAMP) in Los Angeles.  OPCC-LAMP is a visionary social service organization consisting of ten integrated programs dealing with issues ranging from domestic violence, at risk youth, mental illness, substance abuse as well as being the largest and most comprehensive provider of housing services for the homeless and chronic homeless in the region.

For the past three years he’s worked with TED X at UCLA as an advisor, assisting in selection and preparation for the TED speakers for TED X UCLA.
