James Louie
MD, Professor emeritus in Rheumatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He received his medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, trained in Internal medicine and Rheumatology at Johns Hopkins and UCLA. After service as Chief of Rheumatology at the Harbor-UCLA Medical center, sabbatical at the NIH, Medical Director at Amgen, and Physician Diplomate at UCLA Westwood, he continues to lecture in Rheumatology and on artists with autoimmune diseases worldwide. He has published more than 70 scientific publications and book chapters and is the co-author of two books, Targeted Treatment of the Rheumatic Diseases, 1st edition and Treatment of the Rheumatic Diseases, 2nd edition.
