Mady Jalinous

I began my career as a professional academic and professor of economics, with over a decade of experience as an associate professor and lecturer at renowned institutions across the United States. I have taught at Florida State University, University of Colorado, Denver University, UCLA, UCLA Extension, and American University, covering courses such as Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Economics, Global Economics, and Global Electronic Commerce. My doctoral research focused on how persistent disequilibrium caused by inefficient market information creates the illusion of equilibrium while silently building tensions that lead to economic disruptions—commonly known as economic bubbles. This insight into economic vulnerabilities inspired me to move beyond academia and enter the market as an entrepreneur, where I could apply solutions to this critical issue. I founded and led several innovative companies in information technology, creating online information exchange platforms. These companies operated in collaboration with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the National Association of Manufacturers, developing cloud-based communities for various industries. These platforms enabled thousands of companies, both domestically and internationally, to conduct business efficiently through improved market information exchange. Additionally, I have owned and operated ventures in healthcare and renewable energy, further diversifying my entrepreneurial journey. Throughout my career, my passion for teaching has remained a cornerstone of my identity. I strive to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world application, offering students a comprehensive understanding of economics and business. While this is my first venture into online teaching, I am excited about its potential to reach and inspire a broader audience.
