Samuel Blank

Samuel Blank received his Ph.D. in French from University of Maryland. He specializes in teaching French as a Foreign Language, with experience in both classroom and online instruction. Dr. Blank is a certified teacher, online instructor, and examiner of French. His dissertation was focused on the literature of Swiss-French author Albert Cohen, and teaching French as a Foreign Language. He has contributed to various pedagogical initiatives, including creating professional voice recordings for students of French. He is passionate about French language and culture, and loves to incorporate cultural insights in every part of the language learning journey. His courses integrate authentic music, film, art, and literature from across the French-speaking world, and prioritize student proficiency in French for today’s world through a communicative and fun approach to language learning.
