Having worked for Deloitte, KPMG, Northrop Grumman and Merrill Lynch prior to joining UCLA, Mr. Lu’s substantial knowledge is matched only by his significant contributions made to students and in the cultures of Accounting firms. Mr. Lu routinely makes time for UCLA Extension students looking to further their education and/or enhance their skills in Accounting, helping make new practitioners out of anyone eager to learn.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Berkeley in addition to a master’s degree in business taxation from the Leventhal School of Accounting at the USC Marshall School of Business.
As an instructor for UCLA Extension, Mr. Lu has developed a passion for passing on his expertise to students in our Accounting Certificate program. On behalf of the staff here at Extension – and the many students he has helped along in their careers – we want to congratulate Ming Lu on his 2021 Outstanding Educator Award!
