Ali El-Annan

Ali El-Annan is the Head of Technology at one of the largest pension funds in the world managing various divisions (from data science, cybersecurity, software development, infrastructure, architecture, analytics, and more) for the 110 billion+ fund. Mr. El-Annan has been a leader in quantitative research, portfolio management, and data science at the largest asset management companies in the world and played an important part in one of the first fintechs which had one of the largest IPO's. He has a degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California Berkeley. He is passionate about teaching, building community, volunteering, and learning.
