About this course:

This intermediate course takes a detailed look at the various sparkling wines of the world, starting with the most famous region, Champagne. The lesser known regions of France, Europe, the U.S., Australia, and South Africa will be discussed for their contribution to this wine style addressing their uniqueness, quality, and value. The course will emphasize sparkling wine production methods, grape varieties, climatic influences, soil compositions, applicable wine laws, and stylistic differences amongst regions.
