Barbara Osborn

Barbara Osborn, Ph.D., is a strategist for nonprofit social justice organizations, and educator with over 30 years of teaching experience at the University of Southern California, California State Northridge, and Glendale Community College. From 2016 to 2023, she also served as a Senior Fellow at UCLA’s Luskin School. With a rich multi-disciplinary academic background rooted in her doctoral studies from the University of California San Diego (UCSD), her teaching reflects a breadth of interest in social, cultural, and historical dynamics and her commitment to active co-created learning environments. Her commitment to education extends beyond traditional academic settings. Throughout her career, she has developed and led curricula for diverse learning communities from graduate seminars to community groups.
