Jessica Redish

Jessica Redish’s work has been shown around the world and distributed on major content platforms. Her short film “The Last Croissant” was picked up by FunnyorDie.com and screened at festivals around the world. Her project “AIRWAY” won Best Comedy at LA Under the Stars and the Women’s Comedy Film Festival ATL. “Exit, Pursued by a Bear,” a short movie musical which she wrote, directed, choreographed, and co-wrote lyrics, received placement in the Oscar-qualifying HollyShorts and Raindance Film Festivals as one of six winners in the 2022 Stage 32 Short Film Contest. Her latest short film “cat.”, produced while earning her MFA at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts, won the Audience Award & Best Comedy at Rock the Shorts Film Festival in 2024.

Jessica has worked as a comedy writer for Joey Soloway, and for Michael Bay and Adam Goodman’s Invisible Narratives. Her other creative achievements include contributing choreography to The Smashing Pumpkins' International Tour and directing highly-acclaimed musical theatre productions, which continue to inspire her film work.
