Instructor Biography:

Instructor Statement:

I love movies. Always have and always will. Movies are movies because they move on a screen; but even more important, they move inside of us, delighting us, scaring us silly, moving us to awe and moving us to tears. As screenwriters, we're at the center of the entertainment industry. To me, the essence of screenwriting is story. Its power is the power to change us, influence us, and help us understand and cope with who we are as human beings. The ability to create and tell stories through screenwriting is a gift. I treasure any opportunity that allows me to help pass on some of the skills and insights that go into this newest form of the storytelling tradition.
