Richard Learman

Rick Learman earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Business Administration from Boston University.  After graduating from Boston University, he earned his Certified Public Accountant license (active CA #131309) while working with Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PriceWaterhouseCoopers).   Rick’s experiences have included financial management roles for small and mid-sized, public and private, +technology-driven service and manufacturing companies.  His last full-time position in industry was as Chief Financial Officer of a global high-growth services company, where he was honored to be nominated for the Los Angeles Business Journal’s CFO of the year for 2018 and 2019.    He currently serves as CFO and on the Board of Spartan Compass, a non-profit organization that provides mentoring and advisory services for those interested in careers in national security as well as on the Advisory Board for LA Works, RSVP, a non-profit organization providing mentoring, education, and other services to those in need.
