John Shull
In Jack's 35 years as a professional university counselor, he has worked at international schools in southeast Asia, Europe, China, and the Middle East using American, British, and international curricula. He has mentored and coached dozens of university counselors and helped schools all over the world to strengthen their services to students.
Jack's expertise is well-known and globally recognized. He is president emeritus of IACAC (International Association of College Admissions Counseling) and is a regular presenter at international conferences on higher education and admissions. He has personally visited hundreds of universities around the world. Jack was most recently the director of university counseling at St. Stephen's School in Rome, Italy; an International Baccalaureate diploma program school.
Jack is now an independent educational consultant (IEC), consulting with international schools that want to enhance their university counseling program, as well as working privately with students who attend American, French, German, British, Italian, and other international schools who wish to study at a university abroad. He develops programs and workshops for international students who wish to study in the United States, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain, and other international destinations.
Jack holds an Ed.S. in educational administration with a concentration in leadership from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, an M.S. in counseling and guidance, and a B.S. in psychology and education.
