With over 25 years of experience in the field of education and 19+ years as a counselor, Dr. Shanell Leggins brings a wealth of expertise to the profession. Her counseling background encompasses diverse settings, including public, private, domestic, and international environments. Dr. Leggins remains at the forefront of current trends in college admissions by actively engaging in professional development activities such as attending conferences, workshops, webinars, college visits, and presenting at conferences.

Dr. Shanell Leggins holds an EdD in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Educational Psychology, an MA in Counseling and Pupil Personnel Services Credential, a BA in Sociology with a minor in Psychology, and a College Counseling certificate.

A dedicated member of the educational community, Dr. Leggins is actively involved in professional organizations, serving in leadership roles and contributing to various committees within the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the Western Association for College Admission Counseling (WACAC), International ACAC, CIS-EARCOS, and International School Services (ISS). She is committed to lifelong learning and has extended her research interests globally by studying educational systems in Asia and South America.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Dr. Leggins cherishes her time spent reading, traveling internationally, and engaging in activities that promote relaxation.
