About this course:

This course is aimed at screenwriters who are interested in where Black television began and how much farther we have to go. We look at the progression of African Americans on TV and their struggles. We analyze the history by discussing the beginning of Black TV and how it evolved. After taking an in-depth look, you then see the importance of being a Black showrunner or a studio executive with the power to greenlight a show. By taking this course, you can make a difference in your writing and learn from past mistakes. Like a great philosopher once said, "Those who can not remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
