Tai Chi, an ancient martial art, is utilized today as a therapeutic form of moving meditation and rehabilitation and promotes physical health, mental clarity, and overall well-being. In this course, we progressively learn the first 11 movements of the Tai Chi 24 Yang Style, along with gentle stretches, balance exercises, and six simple Qigong movements. We also learn meditation techniques, as well as the ancient history, philosophy, and basic principles of Tai Chi Chuan. Students are required to turn on their videos to allow for proper guidance and feedback from the instructor. Students must sign a waiver before participation.
