What you can learn.

  • Learn how to teach descriptive terms for taste and textures, so children can better understand and communicate their preferences and sensations when trying new foods
  • Discover how to treat all foods equally without labeling foods
  • Develop strategies to enhance mealtimes, to help shift the focus from how much your child is eating to enjoying each other's company

About this course:

Learn how to create a supportive environment where children can use their intuition to master feelings of hunger and fullness while developing a curiosity for trying new foods. This session will introduce simple and fun activities that explore new foods by separating “eating” from “trying”. Participants will gain valuable strategies for incorporating these engaging approaches to foster a positive and enjoyable eating experience for children.
