Bias and Belonging
- UCLA EDI toolkits offer resources and strategies to address various forms of discrimination.
- UCLA Confronting Bias resources offer evidence-based methods for confronting bias and bigotry.
- UNC Microaggressions website provides education, resources and strategies for combating microaggressions in everyday life.
- The UCLA Community Programs Office (CPO) offers free events and activities open to the larger community.
- UCLA Law professor Kimberlé Crenshaw explains what intersectionality means.
- UCLA is one of the top research hubs for Implicit Bias in the nation. Learn about implicit bias on the UCLA Implicit Bias website, then take the Implicit Bias Self-Assessment below.
- The UCLA Civil Rights Office (EDI-CRO) is tasked with upholding the civil rights of all UCLA members. Civil rights include the right to be free from sexual violence and sexual harassment, as well as the right to be free from discrimination or harassment based upon federally protected categories. If you have observed or experienced discrimination, harassment or sexual violence, and are uncomfortable reporting to a UCLA Extension official, you may report directly to the EDI-CRO.
LGBTQ+
- UCLA Extension employs a lived name policy which is built to ensure that a student is recognized by an accurate name and pronouns.
- The UCLA LGBTQ Resource Center provides some events and resources for the larger UCLA Community, including specific resources for Trans-identified students.

- UCLA Extension Office of Disability Services contains FAQs around disclosure and accommodations at Extension

First Generation and Undocumented Students
- UCLA FirstToGo offers a downloadable survival guide for First Generation Bruins. (*Please note that UCLA Extension students cannot access on-campus resources. If you have questions about resources available to you, please contact Bruin REACH.)
- First in the Family provides advice from First Generation college students to incoming First Gen students.
- The UCLA Undocumented Student Program (USP) offers numerous resources for students without documentation.
- The California Student Aid Commission offers financial aid support for students without documents ("Dreamers") in California.
Race
- The Black Bruin Resource Center offers online resources on Black Joy, including a weekly podcast and wellness tips, for the larger UCLA Community.
- National Latino Behavioral Health Assocation offers programs and services focused on the behavioral health needs of Latine students.
- Between Sessions podcast discusses "everything you need to know about mental health and communities of color."
- HUE is a directory of healthcare providers and community of support for women of color.
Dialogue, Mediation and Restorative Justice
- USC and Center for Urban Education's tools for building racial equity
- UCLA Dialogue Across Difference initiative is an ongoing series of efforts to teach UCLA Community members how to respectfully and boldly engage in conversation on controversial topics that impact us all.
- UCLA Office of Ombuds Services is a confidential resource where UCLA Community members can go for assistance in resolving conflicts, disputes or complaints on an informal basis.
- The UCLA Extension Student Rights & Responsibilities Center (SRRC) provides neutral and confidential resolution to student conduct matters. The SRRC also provides guidance and consult on students' rights, as well as mediated resolution to interpersonal conflicts where appropriate.
