Introduction to Advanced Prosthodontics I

About this course:

Students will participate in required seminars and observe in the advanced prosthodontics clinic and laboratory. Required seminars are designed to provide students with an understanding of the basics of advanced prosthodontics. Observation in the dental laboratory will permit students to become familiar with various laboratory diagnostic, preparatory, and prosthetic fabrication procedures. They will observe cases in various stage of treatment progress and discuss treatment with residents. Students will also observe clinical procedures performed by the advanced prosthodontics residents. This permits the student to become familiar with comprehensive clinical procedures of full-mouth rehabilitation including fixed, removable and implant prosthodontics.
