The Vets Count Scholarship was launched in 2016 to assist our active military personnel, veterans and their families who may be pursuing financial programs to assist them in achieving their educational and career goals.

Seeking an education during or after military service can be challenging for many reasons, especially considering the financial burden that comes with going back to school. Our main goal is to help remove this financial barrier and assist our veterans and their families.

This scholarship will pay the registration fees for any two courses in the Financial Management Programs area and applicants who are awarded a scholarship can utilize their award beginning with the first quarter after it’s received.

  • The scholarship will pay the registration fees for any two courses in the Financial Management Programs area
  • Applicants who are awarded a scholarship can utilize their award beginning with the first quarter after it’s received, and must take their first class within one year from the time the scholarship was awarded
  • You have an additional year from that point forward to complete the remaining courses
  • Registration fees for an additional two courses may be awarded if the candidate successfully completes the first two courses, regardless of the financial management program they register for and will have one additional year to complete these courses
  • Certificate fees and textbooks are not included in the scholarship award and must be paid for separately. Scholarships are not transferable and expire one year from the award date
  • The candidates must be active or retired U.S. military personnel or be part of the immediate family (spouse or children) of such personnel
