This course provides a comprehensive exploration of the legal and ethical frameworks governing media practices, with a particular emphasis on the evolving landscape of journalism in a digital age. Students will examine constitutional principles, statutory regulations, and case law as well as the transformative impact of AI on journalistic practice, including the challenge of algorithmic bias, automated content generation, data privacy concerns, and the implications of AI-driven journalism for press freedom and democratic discourse.
